This Privacy Policy explains what information Viral Machine ("we", "us") collects when you use viralmachin.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple: we only collect what we need to run the Service, and we don't sell your data.

1. Information we collect

Account information

Your name and email address.
Your password, stored only as a secure one-way hash (we can't read it).
If you sign in with Google: the name and email address Google shares with us (we don't get your Google password).

What you create

The ideas, niches, product names and descriptions you type in, and the kits, plans and analyses the Service generates for you (saved so you can see them in your history).
Optional settings such as your brand voice, trend-alert topics and the results you log (views, likes, comments, shares, saves).

Photos and videos you upload

Uploads are sent to our AI provider (Google Gemini) to be analysed for your kit. We don't store your photos or videos on our servers. Google keeps uploaded files temporarily for processing and deletes them automatically (currently after about 48 hours).

Payment information

Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your subscription status, billing period and a customer reference — never your full card number.

Technical information

Your language preference and basic request data (such as IP address and browser type) used for security, rate limiting and preventing abuse.

2. How we use your information

To provide the Service: create your kits, save your history, run your plan, and keep you logged in.
To send emails about your account: confirming your email address, password resets, receipts and payment issues, and (if enabled) trend alerts.
To send helpful emails about the Service, such as tips and offers — you can unsubscribe from these at any time with one click.
To process payments and prevent fraud and abuse.
To improve the Service and fix problems.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use your content to train our own AI models.

3. Who we share it with

We share information only with providers that help us run the Service, and only what they need:

Google — AI processing (Gemini) and, if you choose it, Google sign-in.
Stripe — payments and subscriptions.
Resend — sending emails.
Hostinger — hosting the website and database.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and the Service.

4. Cookies

We use only the cookies needed for the Service to work:

a session cookie that keeps you logged in;
a language cookie if you choose a language manually;
a short-lived security cookie during Google sign-in.

We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account information and saved kits while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep certain records (for example, payment records for tax purposes).

6. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, download or delete your personal information, and to object to or limit some uses of it. To make a request, email support@viralmachin.com from the address on your account. You can unsubscribe from tips and offers at any time using the link in those emails.

7. Security

We protect your data with measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords and session tokens, and restricted access. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep your information safe.

8. Children

Viral Machine isn't intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

9. International users

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

10. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top and, for important changes, let you know by email or in the app.
